Help us provide newly arrived Afghan families the assistance they need to settle into their new home in the Beehive State.
Your gift to the IRC in Salt Lake City’s Utah Welcome Home Fund will support newly arriving Afghan families settled in Utah by the federal Afghan Placement & Assistance (APA) Program as they work to rebuild their lives as our newest neighbors. Through the IRC in Salt Lake City, Afghan families will access robust programming and direct assistance supports, such as covering temporary housing costs, rent payment, security deposits, utilities, food staples, transportation supports, essential supplies and much more. Generous gifts to the fund will also support service provision, providing Afghan families with the resources they need to positively integrate as our newest neighbors in Utah.
All donations made will remain in Utah to support our efforts to welcome refugee families and ensure they have the resources they need to rebuild their lives.
