Give today to support refugees and other newcomers in Tucson.
Here in Arizona, the affordable housing crisis is the single biggest barrier for refugees and other newcomers rebuilding their lives in our community.
That’s why we created The Soft Landing fund, which provides temporary emergency housing and rental support so families facing extreme hardship can remain in stable housing.
The Soft Landing Fund will support refugee and immigrants making Tucson their new home through:
• Housing and rental costs: The affordable housing crisis is the single biggest barrier for refugees and other newcomers rebuilding their lives in Arizona. The IRC provides to qualifying families facing extreme hardship so they can remain in stable housing.
• Utilities: Increased utility costs, especially during extreme heat waves experienced in Arizona, increase living costs that often exceed a family’s income.
• Emergency housing support: Emergency shelter due to sudden unemployment, medical issues or domestic violence.
As we continue welcoming refugees and immigrants from across the globe, your donation to The Soft Landing Fund establishes a safety net for families working towards self-sufficiency.
