WLI ELEVATE is an experience for women by women to provide community and inspiration in the form of conversations about their journeys. Its purpose is to ELEVATE a woman's perspective, sense of inclusivity and overall mental and emotional reserve with the goal of having participants feel inspired, embraced and enough. WLI ELEVATE is committed to supporting girls and women experiencing poverty and hardship around the world.
Women and girls in crisis zones face violence, discrimination, lack of appropriate health care, and a lack of opportunities that threaten their lives and rob them of their potential. With the right support they can change their futures.
The International Rescue Committee responds to the world's worst humanitarian crises, helping to restore health, safety, education, economic well being, and power to people devastated by conflict and disaster. Founded in 1933 at the call of Albert Einstein, the IRC is at work in over 40 countries and more than 20 U.S. cities helping people to survive, reclaim control of their future and strengthen their communities.
