As the war in Ukraine enters its second year of continued violence, millions of civilians are still unable to return to their homes. The IRC has been on the ground for the past year, supporting families in Ukraine and those who’ve fled to surrounding countries.
The IRC is scaling up our response during the cold winter months. With little-to-no access to electricity or gas for heating, some families are forced to shelter in subway stations and basements to stay warm.
