The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is partnering with The BMJ to raise donations for those who need it the most this winter.

In winter families who are facing conflict and crises suffer the most. In Gaza, the conflict has pushed the health system to the brink of collapse. In Sudan, extreme levels of food insecurity and malnutrition are affecting nearly 18 million people, making it one of the worst food insecurity emergencies in the world.

The IRC is on the ground in Gaza, Sudan and more than 40 different crisis-affected countries worldwide. In Sudan, we are providing therapeutic food and have launched programmes on health and nutrition. In Gaza, we are providing emergency and life-saving medical care with partners, including direct medical care in hospitals.
